As one of the top tech giants, Google views open source as a solution to real-world problems. Their Open Source Programs Office supports innovation, collaboration, and sustainability in open source. Google developed Kubernetes before CNCF took over and is behind Android, the world’s most popular mobile OS, which is open source. Chromium, which powers Google Chrome, is also open source.

Red Hat is a leading open source company, offering all open-source products. A subsidiary of IBM, it specializes in cloud computing tools and Linux technologies, actively contributing to and supporting significant open source projects.
