IT Business Digest is published by VPROSPKTCO ANALYTICS Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through itbusinessdigest.com and our newsletters, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you subscribe to a newsletter, contact us or request a media kit, we collect what you give us: your name, work email address, company, job title and the content of your message.
When you visit the site, we collect usage data automatically: pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies for this. See "Analytics and cookies" below.
How we use it
We use your information to send the newsletters you signed up for, answer your messages, run and improve the site, measure which stories readers find useful, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations.
If you request information about advertising with us, we use your details to respond to that request.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with service providers who help us run the site and send email, such as our hosting, analytics and email delivery providers. They may only use it to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
We do not sell newsletter subscriber lists or share your contact details with advertisers.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how readers use the site. Google may set cookies and process usage data as described in its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies.
For readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default and are set only if the reader accepts them. Readers elsewhere can turn them off. Anyone can change their choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any newsletter using the link at the bottom of each email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@itbusinessdigest.com.
Readers in the EU and UK have additional rights described in our GDPR policy. California residents have the rights described on our CCPA page.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter subscriber details until you unsubscribe, and messages for as long as we need them to respond and for our records, generally no more than two years.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Links to other sites
Our stories link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it last changed.
